Pfizer Escapes Whistleblower Suit Over Lipitor Marketing

Law360, New York (January 22, 2014, 5:42 PM EST) -- Health Support Awareness Inc. is dropping its whistleblower suit in Massachusetts federal court against Pfizer Inc. over the pharmaceutical giant’s marketing of its cholesterol drug Lipitor after the U.S. government declined to intervene in the case, the U.S. attorney's office announced Wednesday.
