Fla. Music Producer Claims Singing Prodigy Broke Contract

Law360, Miami (January 22, 2014, 6:22 PM EST) -- A Florida entertainment company is taking 12-year-old singing sensation Cam Anthony to state court in Miami, claiming in a lawsuit filed Friday that he and his mother have improperly tried to break an exclusive recording artist agreement he entered into last year.

The Philadelphia preteen shot to fame through YouTube videos of his singing that have drawn hundreds of thousands of views and led to appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and at a Washington, D.C., concert featuring Kem and Patti LaBelle.
