Calif. Appeals Court Finds Union Deal Overrides OT Rules

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 1:49 PM EST) -- A California appeals court ruled Wednesday that workers covered by collective bargaining agreements are exempt from the state's overtime laws, affirming a lower court decision tossing a wage-and-hour suit brought against Exxon Mobil Corp. by employees of a gas and oil plant.
