HP, Sidley Austin Escape Sanctions In Overtime Suit

Law360, San Francisco (January 23, 2014, 8:36 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday refused to sanction Hewlett Packard Co. and Sidley Austin LLP for allegedly making false statements about the named plaintiff in a proposed overtime class action against HP, finding they plausibly claimed he illegally copied his hard drive before leaving the company.
