NJ High Court Won't Hear $9M Hurricane Isabel Coverage Row

Law360, New York (January 24, 2014, 7:06 PM EST) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court has refused to disturb a decision reinstating arbitration in a dispute between a Virginia hotel operator and Selective Way Insurance Co. over $8.8 million in damage from Hurricane Isabel, according to an order issued Friday.

Last May, the New Jersey Superior Court's Appellate Division reversed a trial court's February 2012 decision to terminate arbitration, which Petersburg Regency LLC and Selective Way agreed to in 2007, but for which they then failed to reach terms that would have allowed it to proceed....
