Judicial Watch Sues For HealthCare.gov Designer Records

Law360, New York (January 24, 2014, 6:19 PM EST) -- Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch on Friday sued the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in D.C. federal court, claiming the agency has failed to respond to its Freedom of Information Act request for records related to the selection of contractor CGI Federal for the design of HealthCare.gov.

Judicial Watch said it sent a FOIA request on Oct. 16 for any and all records concerning the selection of CGI to design the much maligned website for the Affordable Care Act’s federal exchange, which HHS acknowledged...
