Casino Bill Sails Through NH Senate Committee

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 2:17 PM EST) -- A New Hampshire Senate committee on Tuesday gave a key nod to a bill that proposes to build a new casino industry in the state with the offering of two gambling licenses.

In a 4-1 vote, the New Hampshire Senate Ways and Means committee passed S. 366, which proposes to put in place a competitive bidding process for two casino licenses, as well as create a new casino division within the state gaming commission.
