Uber Sued Over Death Of 6-Year-Old Girl

Law360, Los Angeles (January 27, 2014, 7:01 PM EST) -- The family of a six-year-old girl killed by a car operated by a driver working for Uber Technologies Inc. sued the company and its affiliates in San Francisco Superior Court on Friday, alleging Uber’s system of requiring drivers to use the mobile app while driving was responsible for the fatal incident.
