Judge Chucks Some Claims From Starbucks FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (March 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has agreed to dismiss a group of opt-in plaintiffs' claims from a Fair Labor Standards Act class action against Starbucks Corp., ruling that certain plaintiffs' charges were barred by the statute of limitations.

U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra granted Starbucks' bid to dismiss any actions dating back three years before the opt-in plaintiffs filed their notice of consent to join with the court.
