Vodafone, Verizon Shareholders OK $130B Wireless Stake Sale

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 3:04 PM EST) -- Shareholders of Verizon Communications Inc. and Vodafone Group PLC on Tuesday approved the $130 billion sale to Verizon of Vodafone’s 45 percent stake in Verizon Wireless, giving Verizon full control of the mobile phone business and ending a 14-year cross-Atlantic partnership between the companies.
