Pa. Lottery Wants Lawmakers To Bet On Keno Expansion

Law360, Philadelphia (January 29, 2014, 3:52 PM EST) -- The head of Pennsylvania’s Department of Revenue urged lawmakers on Wednesday to throw their support behind a planned expansion of the state’s lottery system to include monitor-based games such as Keno, which it says could reap close to $200 million in new revenue per year.

Secretary Dan Meuser told members of the Pennsylvania Senate Finance Committee that Keno would represent just the beginning of a planned expansion into monitor-based gaming at bars and restaurants, which he said was needed to ensure the state’s lottery system continued...
