Global Hotel Deals To Reach $50B In 2014, Report Says

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 6:49 PM EST) -- Global hotel transaction volume will rise 5 to 10 percent to approximately $50 billion in 2014 with growth centered in the Americas, according to an outlook report released Monday. 

The report, published by investment firm Jones Lang LaSalle's hotels and hospitality group, said that growth in the Americas will increase 15 percent to $28 billion and surpass the 2013 five-year high volume of $24 billion. Europe's outlook will also remain positive, while Asia-Pacific is likely to see some softening given less product on the market, according to the...
