Icahn's Stake In Apple Reaches $4.1B As Stock Falls

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 3:01 PM EST) -- Billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn said Tuesday he bought yet another $500 million in Apple Inc. stock, boosting his total investment in the California tech giant to $4.1 billion, despite an earnings report that disappointed investors and drove down the share price.

The Icahn Enterprises LP chairman tweeted about his latest investment, continuing his push for a heftier buyback program, even as the company’s shares trended down Tuesday, opening more than $40 down from Monday's closing bell.
