Suit Says Palm Infringes Autodialing Technology

Law360, New York (March 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Palm Inc., which makes the Treo line of smartphones, has been hit with an infringement suit over wireless phone automatic dialing technology.

Howard B. Rosen and Robert M. Nelson, both of Canada, filed suit Thursday against Palm in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The two men accused Palm of willfully infringing a patent they own and demanding damages, permanent injunctive relief and attorneys' fees and costs.
