Medical Supply Co. Escapes FCA Suit Over Needless Orders

Law360, Los Angeles (January 29, 2014, 6:13 PM EST) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Wednesday tossed a False Claims Act whistleblower suit accusing Allstate Medical Supplies LLC of defrauding Medicare by soliciting medically unnecessary equipment orders from seniors, after the U.S. declined to intervene in the case and the relator filed for voluntary dismissal.
