New Trial Granted In Ex-'Desperate Housewives' Star's Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (January 29, 2014, 9:08 PM EST) -- A California state judge on Wednesday ordered a new trial in former "Desperate Housewives" star Nicollette Sheridan's lawsuit alleging Touchstone Television Productions LLC illegally fired her for complaining that producer Marc Cherry assaulted her, bringing the case back to court after a 2012 jury deadlock and mistrial.
