Feds Protest Separate Fraud Trials For 'Housewives' Stars

Law360, New York (January 30, 2014, 5:36 PM EST) -- Prosecutors urged a New Jersey federal judge Wednesday to reject motions from Giuseppe and Teresa Giudice, stars of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” to sever their fraud and tax evasion prosecutions, arguing that judicial economy trumps Teresa's desire to avoid implicating her husband.
