Boehringer Docs In Pradaxa MDL Unsealed By Judge

Law360, New York (January 30, 2014, 7:57 PM EST) -- An Illinois federal judge on Wednesday unsealed dozens of documents in the multidistrict litigation over Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH’s blood thinner Pradaxa, finding the German drugmaker had not sufficiently explained why it had marked them as confidential.

U.S. District Judge David Herndon granted the plaintiffs’ motion to de-designate the “confidential” label on 85 documents, and made certain exceptions for certain German custodial documents that he said should be released in redacted form.
