San Diego Appeals Travel Sites' Win In Hotel Tax Dispute

Law360, Los Angeles (January 30, 2014, 7:35 PM EST) -- The city of San Diego urged a California appeals court Thursday to overturn a trial court's decision that Expedia Inc. and other travel websites owe occupancy taxes only on the payment hotels actually receive, saying city law taxes the larger total amount the sites charge customers.
