Delta Atty Bashes DOJ Settlement In $17B Airline Merger

Law360, New York (January 30, 2014, 6:50 PM EST) -- An attorney for Delta Air Lines Inc. on Thursday sharply criticized the U.S. Department of Justice’s settlement agreement to clear the $17 billion merger of US Airways Group Inc. and American Airlines, asserting that the deal does not go far enough to preserve competition.
