Coventry Health Care Workers Settle OT Suit For $3M

Law360, New York (February 3, 2014, 6:21 PM EST) -- Coventry Health Care Inc. on Friday asked a California federal court to approve a settlement that would end a proposed class action filed by two former field case managers who had accused the company of illegally refusing to pay overtime wages and denying meal and rest breaks.

Under the terms of the deal, Coventry Health Care will place $3 million in a settlement fund, which will be split between an estimated 203 former field managers who worked for the company between April 2007 and March 2014,...
