Seyfarth Shaw Sued Over Disclosure In Law360 Article

Law360, San Francisco (February 3, 2014, 8:43 PM EST) -- Seyfarth Shaw LLP was hit with a lawsuit in Illinois court Monday for allegedly defaming the former owners of a defunct restaurant company and breaching a contract by disclosing confidential information about the company's bankruptcy in an interview with Law360.

The suit accuses Seyfarth Shaw and one of its bankruptcy partners, Gus Paloian, of making defamatory remarks about the company's owners and their business practices in a 2009 Q&A. Paloian served as the trustee of the debtors' estate in Restaurant Development Group's bankruptcy case.
