Disputed Duties On Chinese Off-Road Tires Will Stay Put

Law360, New York (February 4, 2014, 9:34 PM EST) -- The Department of Commerce renewed anti-dumping and countervailing duties against certain Chinese off-road tires challenged before the U.S. Court of International Trade, saying Tuesday that revoking the tariffs would result in a recurrence of the unfair trade practices the tariffs were meant to remedy.

Following a five-year sunset review of the duty orders, the International Trade Administration decided to keep the tariffs on the imported tires used on farm and construction vehicles, saying Chinese manufacturers would again sell the products at less than fair market value...
