Hogan Lovells Nabs DOJ International Antitrust Vet

Law360, New York (February 4, 2014, 7:03 PM EST) -- Former U.S. Department of Justice international adviser Rachel Brandenburger will join Hogan Lovells' antitrust team in New York later this month, the firm announced Monday.

Brandenburger will be a senior adviser at the firm starting Feb. 18, almost a year after leaving the DOJ. At the agency she became the Antitrust Division's first ever special advisor on international matters under former Assistant Attorney General Christine Varney in 2010, helping the watchdog coordinate with its foreign counterparts on several major mergers and investigations.
