NYC Teacher Test Violates Title VII, 2nd Circ. Affirms

Law360, Los Angeles (February 4, 2014, 9:56 PM EST) -- The Second Circuit upheld a lower court's ruling that the New York City Board of Education violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act by using a teacher certification test that discriminated against racial minorities, saying Tuesday that the board had forfeited its argument against Title VII liability.
