'Rebecca' Publicist Drops Counterclaims In Producers' Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (February 5, 2014, 11:11 PM EST) -- The publicist for the Broadway musical "Rebecca," which was torpedoed by a financier later convicted of fraud, has dropped contract-breach counterclaims against the producers, who are accusing the publicist of sabotaging the show by scaring off a potential investor, according to documents filed in New York court.

In a stipulation dated Jan. 31 and made public Tuesday, publicist Marc Thibodeau agreed to withdraw his counterclaims for breach of contract, unjust enrichment and fraud against the show's producers, Ben Sprecher and Louise Forlenza. Court filings did not...
