Judge Declares Mistrial In Motorola Patent Trial

Law360, Wilmington (February 5, 2014, 7:58 PM EST) -- A Delaware federal judge declared a mistrial Wednesday in Intellectual Ventures Management LLC's case alleging that Motorola Mobility LLC's products infringed its patents, after the 10-person jury was not able to reach a decision, Intellectual Ventures said.

After the nearly two-week trial hit closing arguments Tuesday, the jury deliberated for about a day and a half before coming to an impasse.
