Court Won't Block NHL Web Site Consolidation

Law360 (March 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appeals court said Wednesday that a judge did not abuse her discretion when she declined to issue a preliminary injunction to Madison Square Garden LP in its antitrust fight against the National Hockey League's plans to collectivize all team Web sites.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said that the district court correctly determined that Madison Square Garden failed to establish a likelihood of success.
