Sprint Asks Appeals Court To Ax NY's $300M FCA Tax Suit

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 8:07 PM EST) -- Sprint Nextel Corp. asked a New York appeals court on Thursday to overturn a ruling that left in place a $300 million suit filed under the state's False Claims Act accusing the company of dodging state taxes, arguing the tax law at issue excludes interstate phone service.
