HP Accuses Rival Of Infringing IT Infrastructure Patents

Law360, Los Angeles (February 7, 2014, 3:53 PM EST) -- Hewlett Packard Co. on Thursday hit rival ServiceNow Inc. with a patent infringement suit in California federal court, alleging the information technology services company used technology covered in eight HP patents.

HP says it holds eight patents for managing information technology infrastructure that ServiceNow's products infringe. The patents cover the automation of some IT services and risk management of an IT system.
