Contractor Liable For $12M Munitions Cleanup, US Says

Law360, New York (February 10, 2014, 4:50 PM EST) -- The United States asked a federal claims judge Thursday for a $12 million summary judgment in a suit brought by a contractor claiming it was blocked from completing a job to dispose of leftover explosives at a U.S. Army base in New Mexico, saying the contractor couldn’t get out of its liability for the cleanup.
