Justices Asked To Clarify FCA Liability For Universities

Law360, Los Angeles (February 10, 2014, 4:09 PM EST) -- A University of Texas Health Science Center professor who filed a whistleblower suit claiming a colleague falsified research data asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday to clarify the standard for deciding whether state universities and other political subdivisions can be found liable under the False Claims Act.
