Antitrust Group Slams DOJ Over US Airways-AMR Settlement

Law360, New York (February 10, 2014, 7:28 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice’s settlement with US Airways Group Inc. and American Airlines over their $17 billion merger should be renegotiated or taken off the table, the American Antitrust Institute and consumer groups said Friday, claiming the deal would drive up fares across the country.
