Mars Recalls Rice After Rash Outbreaks At Schools

Law360, New York (February 10, 2014, 5:54 PM EST) -- A Mars Inc. unit recalled all Uncle Ben's Infused Rice on the market on Sunday after children in Texas, Illinois and North Dakota experienced rashes, burning and nausea after eating the products.

Mars Foodservices issued the voluntary recall two days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration learned of a spate of illnesses at three Katy, Texas, public schools.
