Nike Accused Of Stepping On 'Finish Strong' Trademark

Law360, New York (February 10, 2014, 7:03 PM EST) -- Nike Inc. was hit with a suit in Illinois federal court Monday by a sports products company that says the retailer is improperly using its “finish strong” mark to sell T-shirts and running clothes.

Illinois-based Finish Strong LLC accuses Nike of stepping on its mark by using the phrases “finish strong” and “finish strong running collection” to sell shoes, T-shirts, shorts and jackets on its website.
