Brookfield Kicks Off $200M Manhattan West Redevelopment

Law360, New York (February 10, 2014, 4:50 PM EST) -- Brookfield Office Properties Inc. has launched a $200 million redevelopment of 450 West 33rd St., a mixed-use property in its under-construction Manhattan West development at Hudson Yards, the company announced Monday.

Brookfield has enlisted architectural firm REX to design the redevelopment of the 1.8 million-square-foot building, which will be renamed Five Manhattan West. It will have a redesigned lobby, upgraded elevators and an enhanced HVAC system, as well as new retail storefronts and a new pleated glass facade.
