Bulova Gets Partial Win In $27M Army Contract Protest

Law360, Washington (February 11, 2014, 3:49 PM EST) -- The Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals has partially upheld Bulova Technologies Ordnance Systems LLC's protest over the termination of a $26.8 million U.S. Army weapons contract, ruling in a decision made public Monday that there was no cause to terminate an order for some of the weapons.

According to the appeals board’s decision, dated Jan. 28, while Bulova had failed to deliver several thousand PKM medium machine guns and PSL sniper rifles and scopes within its agreed timeframe, making the Army’s termination of those orders...
