AMEC Inks $3.3B Foster Wheeler Purchase

Law360, New York (February 13, 2014, 1:56 PM EST) -- U.K. engineering company AMEC PLC said Thursday that it has signed a £2.0 billion ($3.3 billion) cash and stock deal to acquire rival Swiss company Foster Wheeler AG a month after announcing a provisional agreement.
