Northrop Wins $200M Air Force GPS Contract

Law360, New York (February 13, 2014, 3:22 PM EST) -- Global security company Northrop Grumman Corp. has been awarded a contract worth up to $200 million to develop and maintain the U.S. Air Force's global positioning and navigation systems, the company announced Thursday.

In addition to the physical GPS and navigation units, Northrop Grumman will also be responsible for integrating and modernizing the Air Force's platforms, providing technical support and flights tests, training, depot repair and replacement units of its “fiber-optic gyro-based navigation systems.”
