Christie Campaign Chief Again Scoffs At Bridgegate Subpoena

Law360, New York (February 18, 2014, 6:12 PM EST) -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s campaign manager on Tuesday again refused to respond to a subpoena from the joint legislative committee probing the “Bridgegate” controversy, and suggested his willingness to take the matter before a judge. 

An attorney for Bill Stepien, who ran Christie’s gubernatorial campaigns in 2009 and 2013, sent a letter Tuesday to Reid Schar of Jenner & Block LLP, the attorney for the New Jersey Legislature’s Select Committee on Investigation, indicating his client has no intention of complying with a subpoena for information...
