MLB Drops Suit Against Drug Clinic That Supplied A-Rod

Law360, Miami (February 19, 2014, 4:40 PM EST) -- Major League Baseball has dropped its suit accusing a Florida health clinic of providing performance-enhancing drugs to Alex Rodriguez and other players in violation of the league's drug agreement, an MLB spokesman said Wednesday.

MLB spokesman Michael Teevan said the league had dropped its civil suit against defunct clinic Biogenesis of America LLC and its program director Anthony Bosch, but declined to elaborate further on the league's reasons.
