Judge Gives Kara More Time To Protest Claims

Law360, New York (March 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Seeking to give the debtors a little more time, the judge presiding over the bankruptcy case of Kara Homes Inc. has pushed back the deadline for the beleaguered homebuilder to file objections to claims.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Michael Kaplan issued an order Tuesday extending the date by which Kara Homes and the liquidating trustee Bernard Katz can protest claims against the estate, according to papers filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
