Choice Hotels Wins Trademark Suit, But No Damages

Law360, New York (February 20, 2014, 2:44 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge ruled Wednesday that Dallas hotelier Goldmark Hospitality LLC had illegally conducted business using Choice Hotels International Inc.'s Quality Suites trademarks, but denied Choice Hotels' bid for up to nearly $1 million in damages and injunctive relief.
