Tourre Judge Weighs Blocking Goldman From Paying SEC Tab

Law360, New York (February 20, 2014, 3:43 PM EST) -- Former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. trader Fabrice Tourre on Thursday asked a New York federal judge to soften his penalties and let his ex-employer have the right to help pay the bill.

Tourre, who was found liable for fraud by a jury in August, is now fighting regulators over whether his former employer can cover his losses for disgorgement, among other issues.
