Sony Units Denied Coverage For Suits Tied To Cyberattack

Law360, New York (February 21, 2014, 4:36 PM EST) -- A New York judge ruled Friday that two insurers have no duty to defend certain units of Sony Corp. in numerous lawsuits stemming from a 2011 cyberattack on Sony’s PlayStation Network, saying that to find otherwise would unlawfully expand the policy’s coverage.
