9th Circuit Wipes Slate Clean In Homestore Case

Law360 (March 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has handed the case over Homestore.com's $190 million accounting misstatements back to the district court for further consideration, just two months after the U.S. Supreme Court dumped the case back in the appeals court's lap.

On Thursday, the Ninth Circuit nullified all previous rulings in the case and shot the dispute back to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California for additional proceedings.
