Cargo Firm Admits Bid-Rigging U.S. Defense Contracts

Law360, New York (March 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- New York-based cargo equipment manufacturer Peck & Hale LLC has pled guilty to a two-count felony charge of bid-rigging regarding U.S. Department of Defense contracts for military tie-down and cargo-securing systems.

The firm filed the plea Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and agreed to pay a $275,000 fine. The defense firm also agreed to cooperate with the government's ongoing investigation.
