Supreme Court Won't Hear TCPA Spam-Fax Ruling

Law360, New York (February 24, 2014, 3:36 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear Crane manufacturer Uesco industries Inc.’s challenge of a decision denying class certification in its spam-fax suit alleging a pool supplier violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Uesco had argued in a December petition for writ of certiorari that Poolman of Wisconsin Inc. is liable for the faxes even though they were sent through a third party.
