Rolls-Royce Wins $90M Marines Engine Contract

Law360, Washington (February 24, 2014, 5:09 PM EST) -- Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC announced Monday that it had been awarded a $90.1 million contract to produce engines for MV-22 Osprey aircraft operated by the U.S. Marine Corps, adding to a prior acquisition.

The company will produce 40 Rolls-Royce AE 1107C engines in continuation of a prior contract awarded by the Naval Air Systems Command, according to Rolls Royce. The engines will be manufactured in Indianapolis.
