B&W Unit Wins $1.3B Naval Reactors Components Award

Law360, Washington (February 25, 2014, 6:32 PM EST) -- The U.S. Navy awarded B&W Nuclear Operations Group Inc. a $1.3 billion contract to manufacture nuclear components for defense programs, the company said Tuesday.

Under the terms of the three-year contract, the Babcock & Wilcox Co. subsidiary will produce nuclear power systems for submarines, aircraft carriers and other naval operations as part of the U.S. Naval Reactors Program.
